Do you believe are related education and prevention?

Do you believe are related education and prevention?

Would be difficult to say "NO" after all the education classes throughout our student careers those we have been taught.

And I don´t know whether to listen, or is that really I have the conviction (I prefer to opt for the latter), but I truly believe that education has tremendous sense as a tool for disease prevention (those clearly avoidable).
Regarding education, it is possible to teach everything you imagine. Since ancient times is this; before it was taught from an empirical knowledge and today simply you have read it in a book to teach.

In Health, you can teach about diseases, modes of transmission, risk factors and prevention methods. Really you can just teaching people how to have healthy lifestyle habits and you are already prevent many diseases.

The important thing is that you may interfere with education at any age (even if you educate the pregnant woman, you're preventing disease in the fetus).
But something essential is to know how to educate, and this depends on age, socio-cultural characteristics and educational level of people.
Of course it should be about a topic of interest to them! or if not we will not have good results.

The Chilean people need to learn to prevent illness like diabetes or circulatory system diseases, and this is very simple as have a balanced diet or do exercise three times at week, even in home, since they are children… for this reason, Chile needs professionals to educate its people!
